New Mumbai : Chandigarh: There is resentment among people over the attack on Ajnala police station in Punjab. No action was taken against the accused after 5 days of the incident. At the same time, Amritpal Singh and his supporters are being criticized for using Guru Granth Sahib as a shield. After Shri Akal Takht Sahib, now Damdami Taksal has also come out against Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh.
Amritpal Singh had made the holy form of Guru Granth Sahib a shield to get fellow Lovepreet Singh Toofan out of police custody. Regarding this, an inquiry committee has been formed by the Jathedar of Shri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Harpreet Singh.
What Amritpal has done , this committee is engaged in investigating the incident against Sikh dignity, which will present its report in 15 days. Now Damdami Mint has also expressed its displeasure over the use of Guru Granth Sahib during the protests.
Jathedar of Damdami Taksal Amrik Singh Ajnala has said that what Amritpal Singh has done to free his comrade is against Sikh dignity. For this, Sikh organizations should raise their voice against Amritpal Singh.
Bhindranwale was the chief of Dumdami Taksal
Significantly, Dumdami Taksal is a Sikh organization. Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale has been the head of this organization. Jathedar of Damdami Taksal Amrik Singh said that false allegations are being leveled against him that Dera had instigated Varinder Singh to complain against Amritpal.
No action has been taken even after five days;
Waris Punjab de Pramukh Amritpal, along with his supporters, created nuisance outside the Ajnala police station in Amritsar on Thursday, but no action has been taken even after five days of the incident.
It is being told that the accused of attack on the police station are clearly visible in the CCTV footage but still the police is not making the identity of the accused public.
