4.3k women to go for Haj sans male companions this year

For the first time, the ministry of minority affairs and health ministry have come together to issue directions to states to not only enable pilgrims travelling on Haj 2023 to get the mandatory health screening and fitness certification from any government allopathic doctor, but also organise health and vaccination camps for the pilgrims, where health cards will be issued to them. Health desks will be set-up at all 25 embarkation points at airports.
