India's foreign exchange reserves are set to rise by $12.8 billion to $572.8 billion as on March 17, 2023, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data showed on Friday. This is the highest level since the beginning of February.
Last week's data showed India's forex reserves fell to $560 billion in the week ended March 10, the lowest since early December.
India's foreign currency assets (FCA), the largest component of foreign exchange reserves, increased by $10.49 billion to stand at $505.34 billion. India's gold reserves increased by $2.19 billion to $44.11 billion while SDR and India's reserve position with the IMF saw an increase of $98 million and $29 million each.
